Lorelei Brewery is a German company, that required a conceptual beverage package for its fruit beer; all flavours are commonly found within Germany. The idea of this project/company adopts an ancient folklore tale of a 132m high rock Lorelei, located outside the river banks of the Rhine Gorge. Locally, it is known as the ‘murmuring rock’ because of the blend of its waterfall and natural currents, creating an alluring murmur sound that has been believed to sank many sailor’s hearts by the hands of mermaids.
Each label consists of different illustration interpretation of these mythological creatures. Keeping the geographic tradition in mind, labels are crafted with unique die-cuts to meld in elements of traditional German barmaid attire. While changing the atmosphere with their cinematic poses to further symbolize women’s likelihood of authority and command.
